Nick Hern Books are just on the other side of the Shepherd's Bush Market from us. They publish plays and theatrical literature. There again, now that they've become friends and know the sort of things we could do for them, we hope to see a lot more of them. Its good to have a local client.

Its not an enormous work, but it makes a genuine difference. We're glad we could help.

The Cruising Association Based in the UK, the Cruising Association is a world-wide organisation with 5,000 members, all amateur sailors, founded in 1908. From the beginning its principal objectives have always been to collect and disseminate information to its members. Information services are centred on the library, which, in addition to a substantial collection of books and 3,000 charts, contains the unique CA Regional Files, with world-wide information on ports, harbours and anchorages derived largely from individual member's reports. The CA is now developing a system for storing and providing access to information electronically, and is piloting the move with the files covering the Mediterranean.
BabelFix has provided technical advice - particularly on Adobe PDF production, as well as software to help the organisation, including a draft system for the collection, organisation and collation of annual digests for the Mediterranean Section for whom technical support is provided, as well as graphic design of the covers for the association's 'Introduction to Cruising' series.
