Chris Moyer Consulting Together with Bob Bowers, Chris Moyer is a former Claris employee and, (the way I see it), he's about halfway between being a university don and a complete geek. He's an academic and a writer with the kind of knowledge I'd expect from an old man. Annoyingly he's not and he's also a heck of a developer. It's easy to be jealous of him. His corporate site has some valuable demo files not seen elsewhere.

ClickWare Bob Cusick is regarded as a wee bit eccentric by some. From what I've seen, he never ever wears a tie and is on some kind of mission to have maximum fun. Perhaps because he's not exactly conventional he has frequently found seriously exciting work arounds and developed some really cool ideas. And he's always been generous in sharing them.

Database Pros John Mark Osborne learned a load of his stuff doing Claris tech support. Responsible for some of the most extreme advances, (that hidden portal trick etc.),and for pushing FileMaker's envelope further than even FMI might have thought possible, JMO is a God among mortals. And he too has shared, making much available 'open source'. This site may well be the most comprehensive source of FileMaker information that there is and includes excellent search facilities.

Database Interest Group for FileMaker Beverly Voth is web ma'am for DIGFM besides being about as hot as anyone I've ever met at web integration and a mistress of the nightmare calc. The site has a nice plug ins page as well as many useful links. Bev’s just written a book about XML & FileMaker now works at Moonbow Software, Inc. with the amazing Fred Smith.

HAB Marketing Bart Bartholomay is the kind of code wizard we'd all like to be. It's elegant and outside the box. Nobody does his kind of clever calcs better.

DW Data Concepts Don Wieland's site has a shipload of good tips and files. An active contributor to the Blueworld list, Don has much sensible and clear advice.

FileVille Remains a useful central clearing house with contributions from many great developers - all easily searchable and with its own user group stuff. Some of the tips are now getting very old, but the're still useful, as is the links section.

FM101Free.Com Many many free solutions to download here and even if they are not exactly what you need they'll give you insight into approaches and ideas you might not have considered...

Brian Dunning Brian is one of those quietly smiling types - which hides a razor sharp knowledge - he's particularly hot with Lasso and CDML solutions done without plug ins, many of which can be downloaded here and some are free. His articles for Advisor magazine etc. are often re-published here free. He's also got some good teaching stuff.

FileMakerWorld.com Matt Petrowski and the home of the ISO FileMaker Newsletter. Some great tips, example files and resources. Check out the brilliant Everything CD for FileMaker which covers more or less everything you could ever need and should be a priority purchase for anyone seriously into learning FileMaker Pro.
